Sometimes, I don’t want to go outside or deal with the messes from messy play.
Hi! I’m Natalie Lloyd.
I’m a mom of two children. Early on, I noticed how much calmer life was after we had spent time outside. We also spent a lot of time engaged in messy play.

I started Milkweed and Messes in order to inspire more reluctant families to play messier and get outdoors daily. Science is catching up and proving what we know to be true: most of us aren’t getting enough outside time or free play time.
Let’s change that together!
